Gravel parking north of the Delta Cross Channel; follows old railroad right of way. Walking, fishing, wildlife observation. Canoe access. Fishing licenses are available at the Boathouse Marina. No fee.
13501 Franklin Boulevard, Galt., www.cosumnes.org Take Twin Cities Road East, cross over Interstate 5, to Franklin Road. Turn right and follow signs to walking paths or visitor center. (Open weekends) Managed by Nature Conservancy and Bureau of Reclamation. Walking, and wildlife observation. Canoe Access. No fee.
The public dock is located north of the Walnut Grove Bridge accessible from River Road. FREE day use; modest overnight fees. No services. Handicap accessible. Fishing if no boats. Boating and fishing. Call (916)776-1945 for overnight fees.
County access area. Cross Georgiana Slough Bridge, turn left on Andrus Island Road, travel 3 miles. No sign. Portable toilet, picnic tables. Fishing, small boat access, picnicking. No fee.
